Not a single indication.
Not even as they told you or as it seems to be.
Anti-clockwise, the arrows move towards your eyes.
How prude your virgin eyes! Disguised.
The guilt which starts a fire palpitates and screams.
The lure which feeds the fire invigorates a beam of light cold as ice, sharp as knife, hot as blood.
Some things are best left unexplained.
Some things are best left cold as ice, sharp as a knife, hot as blood.
It is now or never, then never shall it be.
In the corner of this room, where all your fears and horror began.
Strange voices are coming near, will eat you alive, will drive you insane.
Not a single indication.
Not even as they told you or as it may seem.
Some things are best left unexplained.
Some things are secrets and better be left untouched.
Some things are secrets and better be left untouched and unrevealed.
Some things are secrets and better be left.
Some things are secrets.
Some things are secrets.
Some things are secrets.
Eternally!
It is now or never, then never shall it be.

Abigail Williams has had a weird career with hiatuses and lineup changes, but they have finally perfected their sound on Walk Beyond the Dark. This album has such a refreshing and natural feeling that makes it one of the top atmospheric black metal albums of recent years. Ryan

Литоургиiа réussit l'impensable : faire entrer le black metal dans l'église orthodoxe.
Featuring members of Noothgrush, Graves at Sea, and more, the Oakland metal band juxtapose cavernous doom with spaced-out shoegaze. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 21, 2024

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
